Experienced fitters will fit your garments at D&A Front of House. The workroom team will alter and tailor your garments in our studio, which is a 5-minute walk away. Consistent quality control ensures high-standard alterations and tailoring, epitomised by our team’s meticulous attention to detail.

Coat Alterations
D&A is well known for its experience and excellence in menswear alterations, including coats and jackets. Professional alterations can make a difference to the look and feel of wearing formal clothes. Wearing a blazer with a sharp shoulder fit, a well-defined waistline, and a good sleeve length will give you a sense of ease and confidence.
To fit your coat well, we advise bringing anything you would like to wear underneath. It can be a jacket under a coat, a heavy knitted jumper or a waistcoat. We consider everything when we measure you and fit your coat to perfection!
Jacket Alterations
When our professional jacket and suit tailors alter your jacket, they ensure that the alterations are as invisible as possible.
Regular coats and jackets alterations are ‘shortening sleeves’. When the sleeves have no detail, this can be straightforward. We take the length off the cuff. If the sleeves have working buttonholes, embroidery, or buckles, we shorten the sleeves from the shoulders.

Appointments: We work by appointment, within which you will be looked after by one of our experienced fitting consultants. They will advise you on alterations needed to fit your garment well. We provide a price estimate at the end of the fitting for you to decide to proceed with the alteration. We can offer various solutions to alter your garment; some might save costs. Please ask.
*Please bring your shoes to your appointment or some with a similar heel height to ensure we can fit your clothes perfectly.
Fittings are available in our spacious studio or for your convenience at your home address and in hotels in central London. Whatever works best for you.
Charges: Due to the many styles and finishes, it isn’t easy to provide an estimate on the phone. We need to see your garment, the inside construction, and also you wearing it. Costs for similar alterations may vary, particularly for complex, constructed dresses and heavily detailed designer wear. Our charges, alterations and fittings are based on the time at a rate of £80 per hour.
