At Bride & Alter/Design & Alter, we are passionate about the best dress fit, especially for your wedding dress and bridal gown. We want you to look your absolute best on your wedding day. With over 30 years of experience, B&A offers one of London’s best bridal alteration services, providing outstanding tailoring quality and customer service to brides, their bridal parties, bridal stores, and bridal designers. The trusted team of dedicated dress fitters, seamstresses, dressmakers, and bridal tailors alter bridal wear and create bespoke wedding outfits for brides passionate about their bridal look.
How we work
We work by appointment, and you will be looked after by one of our experienced bridal fitters. We charge by time at a rate of £90 (from 02/02/25) per hour for bridal fittings and alterations. At the end of the appointment, you’ll receive a cost estimate for you to decide to go ahead with. To enquire about and book your bridal appointment, please email us.
Depending on the season, we offer discounts to all members of the bridal, often up to 25% discounts on alteration and fitting charges.
